How much does it cost for custom designed Keepsake jewellery?

Custom Keepsake jewellery

If you can’t find something you like in our extensive range, or you feel that something specifically designed for you is the right fit, we are here to help.

Unfortunately, the cost of custom designed jewellery cannot be compared to our ready-made available designs as there are many processes that requires time and attention that is not required with our current available standard designs.

However, the beauty of custom designed keepsakes is that the design is infused with your energy and time as well as ours to bring your ideas to life.

So, what influences the cost of a custom designed jewellery piece?

METAL TYPE

Consider what kind of metal you want.

We work in solid sterling silver, 9ct Yellow Gold, 9ct White Gold & 9ct Rose Gold.

The design you want will also influence the weight of the metal.  The greater the weight, the higher the cost will be.

We do not recommend plated keepsake jewellery, as all plating will eventually wear off, which means plating must be redone regularly, which will add to the costs in the long run.

STONE TYPE

Will you be using diamonds, precious or semi-precious stones, cubic zirconia, or do we have to manufacture a Keepsake composite stone to specifications?

We work with trusted gemstone suppliers to provide you with high quality, fair trade, conflict free stones.

DESIGN, DIGITAL DESIGN and 3D PRINTING

A great way to start your design process is by you sending us your design ideas, photos, sketches, or any references you have.  This is important for us to understand your style and to make suitable recommendations to craft your custom keepsake. We will then make rough sketches, which upon approval, will then be digitally created as a CAD (Computer Aided Design) file.

We will then supply you with a quote to complete your keepsake jewellery piece. Costs will include items such as 3D printing, mould making (if necessary), material costs, metal costs, labour for finishing, stones and/or MGD Keepsake composite stones and setting of the stones.
