Lead time update as of 15 September 2025
Every keepsake is individually handcrafted, so production times can vary slightly.
Our current estimated lead times are:
Keepsake Jewellery: 6 – 8 weeks
Custom Designs: 6 – 9 weeks
General Items: 3 – 5 weeks
Lead time starts once we have all three of the following:
your order, full payment, and the keepsake materials.
Production only begins once everything has arrived.
Please also allow 1–4 days for courier delivery after completion.
A Custom Design is considered anything that is not a standard product on our website, with the exception of resin colour variations.

Load-shedding, humid, cold and rainy weather can significantly affect resin curing time.
The Current Lead Times is therefore an indication only.
We do not ship on Fridays, weekends or public holidays.

Keepsake Items
Flat-rate RETURN courier of R300.00 anywhere in South Africa.
Our trusted courier partner will collect your parcel from your door and deliver your completed keepsake back to you safely.
General Items
Flat-rate courier of R150.00 anywhere in South Africa.
International
At this time we do not ship internationally.
Important: Parcels are not automatically insured.
If you would like to insure your parcel, please get in touch with us before shipping.
We charge a flat rate for collection and delivery so that your keepsakes can travel safely both ways — from you to our studio and back again — without you needing to arrange any couriers yourself.
Some companies advertise “Free Delivery”, but the shipping fee is simply built into their product price. That might seem fine for a single item, but if you order multiple pieces you can end up paying multiple hidden shipping charges.
At MGD we prefer to be transparent. Our flat rate covers both collection and return delivery – so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
We use door-to-door couriers to ensure the safest, most reliable and efficient delivery.

Once your order has been completed and booked with our courier, you’ll receive a tracking number by email or WhatsApp. This allows you to follow your parcel’s journey until it arrives safely at your door.
Please double-check that the delivery address on your order is correct. MGD cannot be held responsible for parcels sent to an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the client.
Kindly inspect your parcel on delivery. If there is any visible damage, note it with the courier immediately and contact us within 24 hours so we can assist.
Parcels are not automatically insured. If you’d like your parcel insured for its full value, please contact us before we book the shipment so we can arrange cover and confirm the cost.
Megan Goldner Designs must receive your Keepsake inclusions within 3 (THREE) months of your order and/or payment date or your order will not be processed, cancelled and your payment will be retained.
