Breast Milk Jewellery
Breast milk jewellery has become very popular in the last couple of years, and mom’s all around the country is sending us their milk to preserve and set into a lasting memory.
The preserving process
With years of experimenting and testing, we have perfected our own preserving and dehydration process.
The preserving and dehydration process can take several days to several weeks depending on the climate, humidity ect.
We are constantly evolving our processes to give you the best quality product on the market.
The ordering process
You can choose any of the products under the Keepsake tab to contain your preserved milk.
When adding hair, please consider that the bigger the milk surface area, the better to showcase the hair.
(All ‘Imprint’ products is not suitable for milk)
The ordering process is the same as the process for Keepsake items which you can find here.
If you order 4 or more breast milk items, please contact us for a 10% discount on your order total!
*Discount excludes any items that is on sale on the MGD website along with any custom bespoke designs.
Color & Shimmer
Megan Goldner Designs offers a range of free colors, shimmers, flakes and flecks to personalize your order with.
All you need to do is take a look at what we have and add this to your order details in the notes section when placing your order. You don’t have to add color, and can choose to keep to the natural color of the inserts.
You can see the options on our color chart HERE.
How to package your breast milk
It is really quite easy!
All packaging information will be sent to you after you have placed your order.
How much milk do you need to send?
Breast milk – We will need approximately 30ml of milk for each item. 25ml is the minimum and 50ml the maximum that can be sent to us.
We will not send back any remaining milk, preserved or non preserved and reserve the right to dispose of any unused milk.
Umbilical cord – We do not work with umbilical cords.
Hair: Yes! We can include a lock of baby’s hair in your design. Please send us a ‘tuft’ of hair with a minimum length of 1cm along with your milk.
The simple answer is that we want to give you the most cost effective option to get your items to us, or delivered to you.
Sometimes companies will advertise ‘Free Delivery’, when in fact, the shipping fees is added into their product price. This might not be a bad thing when you look at the price of a single item, but when you purchase multiple items, you are paying multiple hidden shipping costs. We are MGD feel that this is unfair towards our clients, so we show you upfront what shipping is costing us (we don’t add mark up on shipping) and you.
We hope that this clarifies the shipping costs on our website, but if you have any questions, please feel free to email Megan directly on: email@example.com
